A mid summer night’s dream if I ever did know one.
Hopped on a plane in search of enlightenment, Pataya, and an inside look at Eastern fashion. 24 hours there and 28 hours back and the 6 day trip was more than worth it. Never mind the jetlag and unpredictable weather conditions, if I could perch up here for a month I would have. There’s just something so beautiful to me about the untouched jungle, about the people who live in it. If I wasn’t fiercely addicted to my blow-dryer, bangs and frizz free climates I may even consider giving it a go.
Jourdan and I started our trip with Storets in Seminyak. Coming in strong with sunrise beach yoga, 4 fruit plates, 6 coconuts and 3 outfit changes. (**layers on all new clothes at once) Never have been one for pacing myself. There are so many cute restaurants and shops it was hard to find time to rest. After 2 days of sun soaking by the beach we headed inland to the cultural center of Ubud, in search of zen and jungle.
Eat. Pray. Love. The movie was on to something.
I think I can officially say this was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. And I still can’t believe I was lucky enough to go.
